See Sariaya, Quezon from a new perspective! Experience a tour that doesn’t just show you the sights but asks you to live and dress the part.
Introducing the Villa Sariaya Colonial Experience, the experiential tour of early 20th century Sariaya, Quezon’s neighborhoods and landmarks through dressing the part, feasting on authentic regional culinary specialties and having a fabulous sepia photograph in period costume as a memento.
Explore one of the “white elephants” among colonial homes in the countryside that Designer Lito Perez was able to preserve. With its high ceilings, ornate woodwork, frosted glass windows, and lavish furnishing bringing to mind the days of the Ilustrado class, the Villa Sariaya is a testament to a flourishing economy founded on the coconut industry. Take a stroll down memory lane (literally!) and have a glimpse into the era’s genteel lifestyle through the home of Rodriguez-Veloso family that was once a favorite site for high-powered meetings led by former President Manuel L. Quezon.
